About Hannah Howell!
Hannah Howell has known from a young age that she was destined to work in the music industry in some way, shape, or form. She attended the prestigious Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, Texas, where she studied under many renowned instructors, and had the honor of performing at some of the most famous venues in Texas. She was involved in many different music groups in and out of school, as well as spending a lot of time leading worship at her church. At 18, she won best vocalist in her hometown singing competition.
Hannah graduated from one of the world’s best commercial music schools, Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, receiving a degree in Commercial Music for voice, with a music technology emphasis. Known for her vocal agility and great ear, she excels at singing soul pop, r&b, and country. She is also classically trained, having started voice lessons at the age of 11. Though she is only 23, she has been called “the intern you end up hiring” because of her dependability and drive for all she does. Her work experience ranges from extensive live performances, corporate gigs, and BGV work, having sung backup for many artists, including Carrie Underwood and Erykah Badu. She also has experience running and mixing live sound and was recently a music intern at a local Nashville church.
Hannah stays busy between her time in school and getting established in the music industry in Nashville. She spends a lot of her time performing with a local Western folk band, “Maxwell and the Shakes.” She is also a private voice and piano teacher to children and adults.
